How It Works

How does online pre-kindergarten work at GCPA?

Our structured, flexible environment allows pre-kindergarten (pre-K) students to jump-start their learning journey. The pre-K curriculum engages students in play-based learning to develop their knowledge through thematic units in math, reading, science, social studies, art, and music.

Online Learning for Pre-K Students

Families enjoy the flexibility of learning online and an engaging curriculum with consistent academic guidance to support young learners.

Students and parents have uninterrupted access to lessons and resources that help them navigate the platform and stay on track. On a typical day, pre-K students will have both online and offline learning activities.

What’s my role as a parent?

Parents play an active role in their child’s education, becoming their child’s “Learning Coach” to provide the support they need to learn. With the support of your child’s teacher, you will help keep your student on track. Though activities are ungraded, ensuring lesson guidance, participation, and completion of objectives will allow your child to blossom.

On average, parents spend four to six hours supporting their child’s education each school day in online private pre-K. Parents also have access to a wide variety of resources to help support them and their child.

Grand Canyon Private Academy has worked hard to offer private school pricing that respects the commitment and investment families make when enrolling their children in private school.

Your costs will vary depending on whether you choose to enroll your student for one semester or the full year. We also have part-time course options. There may be additional costs associated with special education services, which could vary based on the level of services needed to properly support a student’s IEP/ISP/MET/504 plan.
