How It Works
Elementary School
Children learn best through hands-on exploration, and at GCPA, we encourage curiosity to engage K–5 students and spark a joy for learning. Online learning for elementary students works much like conventional school with the added convenience of a virtual platform.
A Day in the Life of an Elementary Student
At Grand Canyon Private Academy, elementary students learn in a supportive online environment that combines engaging instruction with flexible learning opportunities. Students may begin their mornings attending live virtual classes before transitioning into interactive lessons, reading activities, hands-on learning, and independent assignments.
Families can build schedules that fit their routines while still ensuring students remain connected to teachers, classmates, and school activities throughout the week.
Students also participate in enrichment opportunities, virtual activities, and school events that help create a sense of connection and community within the online learning environment.
