Grand Canyon Private Academy Alum’s Journey to Morocco
For many students, education is about finding the right academic fit. For this Grand Canyon Private Academy graduate, it became something much bigger. It became an opportunity to continue growing academically, personally, and professionally while navigating major life
transitions and pursuing future goals with confidence.
After moving countries, staying connected to the American education system became incredibly important. Searching for a school that offered flexibility, support, and a strong learning environment eventually led him to Grand Canyon Private Academy.
“I chose Grand Canyon Private Academy because I wanted to stay in the American system after moving countries,” he shared. “A friend suggested Grand Canyon Private Academy, and I just went for it.”
That decision would ultimately become one of the most meaningful chapters of his educational journey.
Transitioning to a new country while continuing school can be challenging for any student. Between adjusting to a new environment, balancing academics, and planning for the future, flexibility became essential. Grand Canyon Private Academy provided an online
learning environment that allowed him to stay focused on his education while also developing important life skills such as time management, independence, and self-discipline.
More importantly, he found encouragement and support from the people around him.
“My environment in online learning really helped me grow as a student and as a person,” he explained. “The people were so nice, and the teachers were very patient with me, especially when I was struggling with my studies.”
That support system helped him gain confidence not only academically, but personally as well.
One of the greatest advantages of online learning, he says, was the flexibility it gave him to manage multiple responsibilities at once. Instead of feeling limited by a traditional school schedule, he was able to create balance between school, work, sports, and personal growth.
“Time management was by far the best part about online learning,” he shared. “I got to do so many things, get so many things done, while at the same time being up to task with my studies, work, social life, and practicing the sport that I love.”
Through Grand Canyon Private Academy, he learned how to take ownership of his schedule and responsibilities, skills that would later help him transition successfully into the next stage of his life after graduation.
Following graduation, he returned to Morocco, where he began interning at a health center that works closely with professional football players, professional clubs, and high-level athletes. There, he gained hands-on experience assisting with coaching therapies, recovery
sessions, physiotherapy support, and rehabilitation programs.
The opportunity gave him first-hand exposure to working alongside elite athletes and healthcare professionals in a fast-paced professional environment.
“I had the fortune to get professional experience from professional athletes and professional people in general,” he shared. “For me, it was a great experience and a great opportunity to see firsthand what it’s like to work with such people.”
His experiences after graduation reflect the same ambition and adaptability he developed during his years at Grand Canyon Private Academy.
Beyond academics and career preparation, some of his favorite memories from Grand Canyon Private Academy came from the experiences and milestones shared with classmates and staff. Among those moments, one stands out above the rest: graduation.
“My best experience at Grand Canyon Private Academy was my graduation in the Grand Canyon,” he shared. “It was an amazing trip to Arizona where I got to do so many activities and have so much fun, especially seeing such an amazing view in the Grand Canyon.”
For him, graduation represented more than simply finishing school. It symbolized growth, perseverance, and the journey he had taken both academically and personally throughout his time at Grand Canyon Private Academy.
Looking back, he strongly encourages other students and families to consider online learning, especially those seeking flexibility and balance in their daily lives.
“I would recommend online learning to anyone,” he explained. “Your time will be more flexible, you will have a better social life, more time to practice hobbies, more time to study, and you will be surrounded by people who deeply care about you and your growth.”
Today, his story serves as a reminder that education is not always one-size-fits-all. Sometimes, the flexibility to learn differently opens the door to opportunities, experiences, and personal growth that extend far beyond the classroom.
From navigating life between countries to gaining professional experience working alongside elite athletes, his journey reflects the confidence, independence, and determination that can grow when students are given the freedom to thrive in an
environment built around their needs.
Grand Canyon Private Academy helped provide that foundation, and his story is only just beginning.
